Partnership of Bangladesh Police and Law Enforcement and HIV Network (LEAHN), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Police initiated a partnership with Law Enforcement and HIV Network (LEAHN) and the International Police Advisory Group (IPAG) to work together on law enforcement and public health initiatives. The initiative is facilitated and supported by UNAIDS and UNDP Bangladesh. The initiative focuses on Key Affected Populations and addressing sexual violence. It also provides an opportunity for global networking to share experiences among the countries. As part of the initiative, the most senior woman police officer from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police was appointed as the Country Focal Point who will be working with LEAHN coordinator and other national focal points. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was already signed between the LEAHN Coordinator and the Country Focal Point in this regard.
